As the curator and mentor for PYANG Workshop and Exhibition II, I had the privilege of working closely with the inspiring women of Pyangaun to co-create a space that honored their stories, skills, and heritage. This project was not just about showcasing tradition — it was about reclaiming identity, building confidence, and celebrating the everyday creativity rooted in this community.
With the support of Godawari Municipality, we were able to deepen our engagement through hands-on workshops, intergenerational dialogue, and collective storytelling. It was powerful to witness how bamboo, memory, and collaboration came together to form something both deeply local and universally resonant.
PYANG is a reminder that heritage lives best when it's shared — and when women lead, that heritage thrives.
